Senders

A Sender is one whose heart is stirred by people of other cultures, yet have not heard His call to go. If there is a special quickening in your pulse, you may be called to the ministry of a sending team!

"Having been a part of OOR since before its founding, it has been an incredible journey to watch the Lord bless and sustain the call of OOR to minister to the people of Haiti. Though the faces have changed over the years, the passion to minister to both the physical and the spiritual needs of the people of Haiti has continued to grow. You will be blessed to partner with OOR through supporting with financial or medical donations, partnering as a 'sender' to help another team member make a trip, or personally participating on a future trip. God refreshes those who refresh others (Prov 11:25) Be refreshed and blessed through partnering with OOR!"- Jim Caple, Pastor of Church for The Beach in Indian Harbor Beach, Florida

Financial Support

You can help by sending a donation. Or you can help to purchase medications, or other supplies by making any donation towards Haiti medical teams. This is tax deductible and you can make your check payable to Oaks of Righteousness. You can send your donation by mail to

Med-Packing Parties!

A sender could be to come to a med packing party. If you can count to 10 you can bag and label medications that are going to Haiti and pray over them as you pack or if you can’t count to 10 you could fold med cards, drink coffee or just be there to support the team. Find us on Facebook for dates and locations of upcoming med-packing parties.

Prayer Support

Spiritual Warfare at its best...Each team member will be asking for prayer partners from their group of friends and their church so please be a prayer partner. If you don’t have a prayer partner we would love to have you keep Oaks in your prayers daily or as God leads you to pray. Please check out our blog for information on specific prayer requests.

Moral Support

just being there...

Communications Support

Support letters, email and more... though it may be difficult to communicate while your missionary is in Haiti please don’t forget about them when they get home. A phone call, a letter or an email welcoming them home is so important.

Re-entry Support

More than just applauding the landing of the jumbo jet...A personal visit when your missionary comes home just allowing them to talk about their trip and what they saw or did is more valuable than you can know. Allowing your missionary to share their experience and to talk about their trip is very necessary. God may be showing them many things about themselves or what the next step is for them and they need to be able to share it with the church family.

Testimony

"Ray and I have been working with Oaks of Righteousness for several years now. We have seen it grow and become more organize through trials and errors. I really like the way Cindy tries to prepare the team ahead of time with the scriptures and getting them ready emotionally.

Then when they get here she has it all worked out, who does devotions and kitchen duties.  She likes to keep all the people together as a team and work that way also.  Oaks is dedication to come over here (to Haiti) with free meds and the spiritual truth, it is awesome.

They are very organized in how they mark all the meds ahead of time and written in Creole how to take them. Cindy is doing a great job and I hope we can work many more years to come with Oaks."
